For decades human beings have been managing digital infrastructure, with each misstep being an opening for compromise. While building our other products it became apparent that relying on system administrators was going to be impossible for the scale while also ensuring security by default. Building upon the backs of giants by leveraging a modern devops approach to making our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) its own product for whatever services are running within a cluster. With minimal setup for such configuration items such as cert bundles, cryptography signatures, and to which cloud it should be deployed.
